Events and Festivals

  • St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Breckenridge Brewery gives itself an Irish makeover and hosts a variety of Irish festivals in honor of St. Patty’s Day.

  • Break Pride. Break Pride will host daily parties, on-mountain guided tours, and LGBT celebrations all week long.

  • Breckenridge Spring Beer Festival. The Breckenridge Spring Beer Festival is one of the coolest spring events in the Colorado Rockies, featuring brews, views, and free live music.

  • Imperial Challenge. The Imperial Challenge is a unique pseudo-triathlon. Ride your bike 6 miles from the Breckenridge Rec Center to the base of Peak 7 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Ascend on your choice of gear to the top of Peak 8.

Attractions

Aside from world-class skiing and snowboarding, there are so many different things to do in Breckenridge.

  • Snowmobiling. Guided tours begin on trails winding through snow-covered forests as you climb toward the high alpine bowls and meadows of the Continental Divide.

  • Zip Line Tours. With the Colorado Adventure Center You can experience one of the highest, longest, and most exhilarating high tower zip line tours in Colorado. Climb the sky-high 65-foot towers, then soar across eight separate zip lines for nearly a mile of zooming thrills.

  • Breckenridge White Water Rafting. Also affiliated with the Colorado Adventure Company You can raft Clear Creek – the most convenient white water rafting trip in Breckenridge.

  • Historic ATV Tour on the Continental Divide. Take a Guided ATV tour to enjoy the rich history of Camp Hale, where the 10th Mountain Army Division trained, and the Continental Divide.

  • Horseback Riding. On a Breckenridge Stables Trail ride, you’ll explore the beautiful mountain scenery between Peaks 9 and 10 on the Ten-Mile range above Breckenridge.

Entertainment + Nightlife

  • Hearthstone. Hearthstone is a Breckenridge classic, featuring naturally raised beef and game, sustainably caught seafood, and in-season Colorado produce.

  • The Briar Rose Chophouse & Saloon. The Briar Rose Chophouse and Saloon has been serving the finest aged beef and fresh wild game in their landmark downtown restaurant for decades. Their dining room offers a rustic-chic atmosphere. There is also the historic back-bar – the centerpiece of the lively saloon.

  • SouthRidgeSeafood Grill. A local Breckenridge favorite, Southbridge Seafood Grill offers fresh seafood with a stunning view. Dine inside or outside on the spacious 60-seat deck.
