What's the difference between vacation ownership and timeshare?
Unlike traditional timeshare, we offer the kind of flexibility that allows you to return to your favorite resort every year or travel to new frontiers. With studios to multi-bedroom suites from Orlando to Hawaii, our program gives you the flexibility to create your own itinerary.
Do I really "own" my timeshare?
Yes, you really do own your timeshare. In fact, most of our resorts offer deeded ownership interest so you can own a piece of your favorite destination.
Do I have to travel to the same place year after year?
Only if you want to. Return to your favorite destinations every year or explore new horizons. With Hilton Grand Vacations, you'll always have a variety of vacation destinations and experiences to choose from, including our distinctive collection of Hilton Grand Vacations resorts, more than 6,100 hotels and resorts in the Hilton portfolio of brands, more than 4,300 affiliated resorts through resort vacation exchange privileges at RCI Exchange Resorts and SFX Preferred Resorts, and specialty travel experiences through our ClubPartner Perks travel partners.
Where will I be staying?
Accommodations as specified in the Vacation Package offer may include a standard double hotel room at a Hilton portfolio hotel or a studio or suite at a Hilton Grand Vacations resort (valued at $175-$500/night) except in locations where accommodations at another brand hotel may be offered. Your accommodations will depend on the vacation package you’ve purchased, your destination and availability based on your travel dates.
Can I afford to become a Hilton Grand Vacations Owner?

What is Hilton CleanStay?
Hilton CleanStay is a program that delivers a new standard of cleanliness at our properties worldwide and includes enhanced disinfection of the most frequently touched guest room and public areas. These new cleaning protocols have been implemented from check-in to check-out to ensure your peace of mind.

What is a Hilton Grand Vacations Personal Preview and when does it take place?
During your vacation, you'll attend a Personal Preview, an approximately two-hour sales presentation and tour that will introduce you to the many benefits and privileges of vacation ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations. If you are traveling on a vacation package, your Personal Preview will be scheduled when you book your travel dates, typically the day after your arrival.
Do I have to purchase ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations during my trip?
There is no obligation to purchase any ownership interest in Hilton Grand Vacations.
How can I book and reschedule my travel dates?
Once you've purchased your package, you’ll receive an email with next steps and details on how to choose your preferred travel dates for your upcoming vacation. For more details, see Details of Participation
Where will I be staying?
Your vacation package includes accommodations at either a Hilton Grand Vacations resort or a hotel at one of Hilton’s 18 distinct brands, chosen for its quality and location. Accommodations are subject to availability based on your travel dates.
When will I take my resort tour?
We schedule that when you book your travel dates – usually for the day after you arrive so you still have plenty of time to enjoy your getaway.
When will I receive my bonus/gift?
You will receive your bonus after you've completed your Personal Preview. Please allow six to eight weeks for Hilton Honors™ Points to be deposited into your account. You must be a member of Hilton Honors to earn Hilton Honors Points. Hilton Honors Points do not count toward tier qualification. Please see complete Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions.
Can I attend the resort tour and sales presentation by myself?
If you are married or living with someone and combining your incomes, the couple is required to attend together, except where prohibited by law.
Can I bring my pet?
No, pets are not permitted on Hilton Grand Vacations vacation packages or at Hilton Grand Vacations properties, with the exception of registered service animals, which are always welcome.
How many people can I bring with me?
It depends on what type of getaway you purchased, but typically these special vacation packages are designed for two adults, with some exceptions for families with children. You can confirm details when you book your dates.
How long do I have to use this package?
Travel must be completed within 12 months from the date of your package purchase.
Can I bring my children on the resort tour?
Our team will be able to provide up-to-date information on activity rooms for children during tour times at participating sales sites.
