We stayed at Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa, nestled in the heart of Algarve and just a train, bus or plane ride away from Lisbon.
The resort welcomed us with open arms and promised luxury and relaxation.
From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were treated like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need — from the seamless check-in and late check-out to a thoughtful gift in our room.
Our accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. The rooms were spacious — suitable for families and groups — and boasted breathtaking views of the lush surroundings. It felt like a home away from home with the full kitchen, dining and living room and washing machine, which was a huge plus for me.
There are enough amenities for you and your travel party to stay entertained, whether or not you’re a golf enthusiast. This property has six pools — five outdoor and one indoor heated — with separate pools for adults and families.
The resort also offers a free shuttle service to Vilamoura Marina and Vilamoura Beach.
A highlight of our stay was the complimentary all-you-can-eat breakfast, thanks to my friend’s Diamond status. Indulging in a delicious breakfast while overlooking the resort’s pristine pools was the perfect way to start each day.
While the hotel offers delectable dining options, venturing to Vilamoura Marina is a culinary adventure. My Thai was a pleasant surprise that lived up to their positive online reviews.
Of course, no trip is complete without a dash of adventure, so we made the trip to the mesmerizing Benagil Caves.
We went on a tour that allowed us to swim in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Exploring the caves and learning about their history was fascinating. The opportunity to float and swim in the crystal clear blue waters was pure magic.
As I reminisce about our time at Hilton Vilamoura, I can’t help but feel a twinge of nostalgia. From the warm hospitality to the unforgettable experiences, every moment was a testament to the joys of travel.
